2020- A year that no one can forget. Welcome to our blog "Humans of the Pandemic".In our opinion, the more you'll interact with people, the more you'll learn. With this positive thought in mind, we had interviewed Mr. Abhishek Gupta to know how was his world in the time of Covid.

Abhishek Gupta is 22 years old and is currently working with his father and owns a family business of leather and textiles. He described his world in the time of covid in one word as Stressful.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic most of the businesses had faced a huge loss. As Mr. Abhishek owns a business of leather and textiles we had asked him whether his business had faced a loss due to Covid-19 pandemic to which he said, “The market was the main loss. There weren’t enough sales. The leather and textile industry had dropped in the beginning of lockdown which resulted in some changes”. As a result, they had switched to a new business of manufacturing masks as the masks were the need of the hour. They thought it’s better to have some profit and serve society with the product which is most used. Moreover, we asked him how he sees this investment in the long run to which he replied, “Honestly masks business is a short term but we are planning on making it huge with certain collaborations”.

He felt that the initiatives taken by the government at the beginning of the pandemic such as lighting the diya and Taali, Thali bajao were great and it actually showed the unity amongst the nation. During this Covid-19 pandemic he discovered that time is very essential and we should not wait for the right time to come, let’s just do it whenever we feel like.
