2020- A year that no one can forget. Welcome to our blog "Humans of the Pandemic”. In our opinion, the more you'll interact with people, the more you'll learn. With this positive thought in mind, we had interviewed Mrs. Geeta Devi to know how her world was in the time of Covid.

Geeta Devi is a 37-year old modern day woman. She is married to Mr. Yoginder Singh and they have 3 children. She takes care of her home as well as works as a house help. When we asked her how she would describe her world in the time of covid in one word she said, “Stressful” as she was out of job, not getting enough food to eat as the shops were closed.

During the covid-19 pandemic everything was closed except the shops selling essential items. At this time, most of the schools and colleges had adopted a new way of teaching, known as online teaching which required the internet. Keeping this aspect in mind we asked her, ‘Did you buy internet services for your children’s online classes?” to which she said, “Yes, we had bought internet services as I did not want my children’s studies to get affected”.

Wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, sanitizing hands was the only way to keep oneself safe. So, in this pandemic when she did not have enough resources yet she managed to buy masks, sanitizers to keep her family and herself safe.

In her opinion, the initiatives taken by the government at the beginning of the pandemic such as lighting the diya and Taali, Thali bajao were good and her family had also participated in it.
